Philosophy
Lindmark Homes is a Southwest Colorado custom home builder whose success is best measured by its history of transforming the dreams and needs of clients into functional and beautiful homes of value.
Since 1978, our philosophy has sustained our business through times of varying degrees of prosperity. The following principles are the fundamentals of our philosophy:
• First is an imperative: the client comes first. A home's design and construction must center on his/her needs, wants and vision. Client consultation is an ongoing and daily event which is welcomed by us. A CLIENT'S BUDGET WILL ALWAYS BE RESPECTED AND CONSIDERED.
• Second is the importance of design. Southwest Colorado is unique in many ways and a builder's understanding of that uniqueness is important. Topography is a key consideration here. A home should fit into a building site and never be forced onto it. Winters can be quite snowy. Thus, it is important, as much as possible, to consider our plentiful and powerful sun when directionally locating front entries and garage doors. Our views are unmatched. Incorporating those views into the design not only adds personal enjoyment, but significant value.
• Third is the quality of materials and workmanship. We have built a solid reputation on the excellence of our product. Nearly all of our business has been based on "word of mouth" and many of our clients have been repeats. We protect that reputation carefully.
• Fourth is our belief that the attention required to achieve a quality outcome can only be obtained by restricting the number of ongoing projects at any one time. Mark is a "hands on" builder, spending days on the job site working hand in hand with subs. This limits us to one house in the design/planning/foundation stage and one in the framing through completion phase at any given time. Because of this, our clients have Mark's full and undivided attention.
